Amy Fogleman Named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation
Congratulations to Amelia A. Fogleman, who was recently nominated by her peers to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. This exclusive society of lawyers, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars grants membership to individuals demonstrating exceptional leadership in the legal profession as well as service to society.
The American Bar Foundation is a 70-year-old nonprofit, independent research institute that addresses critical questions at the intersection of law and society. As a Fellow, Amy will provide support for and have access to the cutting-edge research conducted by the ABF.
Amy’s practice focuses on appellate law and complex commercial litigation. She represents numerous publicly-traded companies, Native American tribes, tribal businesses, and privately-held businesses. Amy has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, including the Fifth, Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. She has also facilitated numerous settlements in her role as an Adjunct Settlement Judge for the court-ordered dispute resolution program in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
Chambers USA has named Amy a leading lawyer in Native American Law and Litigation: General Commercial and Super Lawyers recently included her in the Top 25 Women list. She was also awarded Lawyer of the Year for her appellate practice by Best Lawyers.
Prior to joining the Firm, Amy was a law clerk for the Honorable Stephanie K. Seymour, Chief Judge, U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and for the Honorable Sven Erik Holmes, U.S. District Judge, Northern District of Oklahoma.
