GableGotwals Announces New Shareholders
GableGotwals is pleased to announce five attorneys have been named Shareholder effective January 1, 2022.
The group includes litigation attorneys Andrew J. (“A.J.”) Hofland, Justin A. Lollman, and Timothy J. Sullivan, Jr., and transactional attorney Michael R. Scoggins.
“We are proud of the accomplishments each attorney has achieved, and we acknowledge their contributions to the Firm. Their growth and commitment to GableGotwals only strengthen our foundation for the future,” said John Dale, CEO of the Firm.
A.J. Hofland focuses on white-collar defense and corporate investigations, healthcare litigation, and general civil litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, A.J. gained significant trial experience as a Navy judge advocate and as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma. In addition to defending businesses and individuals in criminal, civil, and administrative matters initiated by federal and state governmental agencies, he brings a solution-oriented approach to resolving business disputes—whether pre-litigation or through trial.
Justin Lollman has a diverse civil litigation practice, focusing on appeals, complex commercial litigation, employment law, governmental liability, and civil rights defense. Justin regularly practices before state and federal courts across Oklahoma and throughout the country. Having clerked for federal judges at both the trial and appellate levels, Justin is well-versed in federal practice and procedure and draws on that experience to counsel clients at all phases of the litigation process, from the pleadings up through appeal.
Michael Scoggins focuses on corporate and commercial law, energy law, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Prior to joining the Firm, Michael served as Senior Counsel for an oil and gas exploration and production company which provided him with first-hand insight into the operational, management, and legal issues facing energy companies. He has applied that knowledge to representing his clients who conduct business in various industries such as and gas, commercial real estate, and health and wellness.
Tim Sullivan represents companies in complex commercial and civil litigation, with a focus on the oil and gas industry. He has extensive experience representing publicly-traded oil and gas companies in litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. In addition to his work for clients in the energy industry, he has substantial experience representing clients in the financial services, pharmaceutical, and software industries.
In addition, the Firm recently welcomed Michael S. Lewis in Tulsa, and Motahareh H. Nickel and Taylor J. Freeman Peshehonoff in Oklahoma City.
GableGotwals will also host second-year law students Michael Duke, Jayci Jones, Claire Lenz-Dean, Chris Shrock from The University of Tulsa, Connor Colclazier from Oklahoma City University, and Cole McDaniel, Mylon Smith, and Rosa Garner from the University of Oklahoma as summer associates in 2022.
