U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Names Trent Shores as a Member of its Oklahoma Advisory Committee
GableGotwals CEO, John Dale, announced that the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition has named Shareholder Trent Shores as a member of its Oklahoma Advisory Committee. The U.S. Global Leadership organization develops dynamic programs in the nation’s capital and across the country to educate the American public and engage foreign policy and national security leaders about the importance of America’s smart power tools of development and diplomacy. They believe that business, faith, military, and community leaders benefit when America leads in the world through investments in development and diplomacy.
Mr. Shores, a former United States Attorney, advises clients regarding complex litigation, Native American law and policy, cybersecurity, and high stakes government and corporate investigations. He represents clients in state, federal, and tribal courts at all stages in the litigation process, including at trial and on appeal. As a career prosecutor, he has been nationally recognized for his efforts to develop and implement strategic responses to Native American public safety challenges, human trafficking, and economic espionage and trade secret theft; and his work has been featured in national media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Real Clear Politics, and the Associated Press.
“We’re pleased to welcome Trent Shores to the USGLC’s Oklahoma Advisory Committee, where he’ll join an impressive group of more than 60 business, faith, military, government, and community leaders from across the state. With nearly 18 years in public service—including as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma—his perspectives will be invaluable to champion America’s role in the world and draw connections between our global engagement and Oklahoma’s security and economic prosperity,” stated Jason Gross, USGLC Executive Director. “We look forward to working with him and our State Advisory Committee leaders to engage with Oklahoma lawmakers and stakeholders and continue building support for America’s diplomacy and development programs and greater U.S. global engagement.”
“This is a wonderful opportunity for both Trent and for GableGotwals. His experience and knowledge will be valuable in helping develop policies that positively impact a diverse array of Oklahoma industries and communities. We are proud to support Trent in this endeavor and look forward to seeing the results of his efforts as a member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition,” said Mr. Dale.
