Rosa Garner is an associate at GableGotwals, where she previously worked as a summer associate. Her practice focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including corporate litigation, energy law and intellectual property.
While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Rosie served as the secretary of the Intellectual Property Society and was a candidate to the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal. She was frequently named to the Dean’s Honor Roll and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law, Environmental Law, and Alternate Dispute Resolution. Other law school honors included merit-based awards such as the Nathalie Pierrepont Comfort, William Russell & Ruth Farmer, and Second Century Scholarships. Rosie graduated in the top 20% of her class, earning her Juris Doctorate with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Before coming to law school, Rosie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to receive a Master of Science degree in microbiology, also from the University of Oklahoma, where she worked as a research assistant for several years, focusing her research on microbiological methane cycling in the environment.
