He regularly advises clients on a variety of litigation and business matters, including workouts and bankruptcy matters, contract and loan disputes, lien disputes, construction disputes, and collections.
Brandon’s recent experience includes litigation in a variety of contexts in both state and federal court, representing debtors and creditors in workouts and bankruptcy cases involving several industries, including the energy sector, and representing both local and national lenders in connection with loan defaults, workouts, collateral liquidation, and collections.
- Lead counsel for chapter 11 bankruptcy debtors in the construction and retail industries in Oklahoma, in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
- Creditor counsel to clients in multiple industries in chapters 7, 11, and 13 cases in all Oklahoma districts.
- Regular bankruptcy counsel to a natural gas utility company in multiple jurisdictions, involving a wide range of creditor-related issues, both in and out of bankruptcy.
- Creditor counsel to oil and gas producer and midstream clients in several recent chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in multiple districts, including the Southern District of Texas, the District of Delaware, and the District of Wyoming.
- Creditor counsel to a coal producer in a recent chapter 11 case in Kentucky.
- Representation of lender clients in loan workouts, chapter 11 cases in multiple districts, as well as foreclosure and receivership cases.
- Complex commercial litigation experience, in and out of bankruptcy, in both Oklahoma state and federal courts, primarily involving creditor clients and collateral liquidation, but also involving a variety of business disputes.
